The UN Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the main UN Conventions as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are used as inspirations and guidelines for the activities and objectives of GHB.

4. Provide educational programs, instructional materials, and practice opportunities.
5. Facilitate, promote, and contribute to the use of information technologies to improve access to health and health system strengthening
6. Promote and contribute to global health research and development.
7. Promote and collaborate with the evaluation, study, and analysis of health systems.
8. Support local associations, governments, and community leaders in the improvement of the right to health.
